Bonus for people staying at the Covi SuperShow rally at Ellerslie

Auckland’s weather over the weekend has resulted in a bonus for people staying at the Covi SuperShow rally at Ellerslie Racecourse.
Auckland Cup Day was rescheduled from Saturday to a twilight race meeting this Thursday, March 16 – the day the rally opens. As a result, rallygoers are now going to be able to enjoy one of the biggest days on the racing calendar, at no extra charge.
Rally parking will open at 11am (an hour earlier than previously advertised) and will be available until 8pm. However, we recommend you get there before 3pm so you can enjoy all the thrills of the seven-race card.
Its great so many visitors coming to the Covi SuperShow are making a weekend of it and staying over at the rally organised in conjunction with the event by the Counties area of the NZMCA. The Auckland Racing Club is creating a campervan park in the Ellerslie Racecourse infield for visitors to the Covi SuperShow.
There is NO NEED to pre book, there’s plenty of room in lovely surroundings with fantastic availability of bars and restaurants on-site and the rally will have its own dump station.
Rally costs: $15 per van per night.
Gates open Thursday, March 16th at 11am. A free bus shuttle service is running between the rally and the Covi SuperShow at the ASB Showgrounds.
